Consultant Rheumatologist

I am a senior consultant physician and hospital director with over 20 years’ specialist experience diagnosing and treating the full range of musculoskeletal conditions that  can affect both adults and children.  I am also expert in the diagnosis and care of chronic pain, post viral illness and fibromyalgia.  I practice collaboratively within the multidisciplinary OS Clinic team of specialists, and I am based at The Blackheath Hospital and Harley Street.

Common Rheumatological Conditions

Rheumatology is the specialist diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system, including bones, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.  These conditions can be mechanical or autoimmune and inflammatory in nature, and affect any age group.  There are many treatment pathways that I can provide involving specialist multidisciplinary professional teams.
